Hi Friends! Remember my autumn mandala colouring book ? Well I've just made another one, but this time it's all about Christmas. It features a variety of unique and pretty mandalas with a Christmas image in the middle. ...
Whoo hoo! I'm so excited to finally finish my Boston Terrier clipart! My very first dog was a little Boston Terrier called Muggins. I had begged and begged and begged my parents for YEARS: "Can we PLEASE get a dog?" They finally gave in when I was 10 and boy was I happy! Muggins came to live with us when he was 2-years-old.  I remember my mom thought he was very funny looking, but I thought he was the most beautiful dog in the world and could not have loved him more. For some reason, Muggins has been on my mind a lot, so I decided to make this clipart as a tribute to my adorable first dog. There are 39 images in all and they range in size from about 5 inches to 12 inches wide. The colour images include: dog in a mug dog on a cushion dog in glasses standing dog play bow dog dog head 5 bones 5 paws 2 bowls 1 text (I love Boston Terriers) The set also includes all the above images in grayscale and as outlines (you can see them below). As w...
I just painted my first snowman! Well...it's probably not my VERY first. I'm sure I must have painted lots of snowmen when I was in elementary school. But for the last year I've been dabbling in watercolours. I've gone to a few local classes and I've been practicing at home. ...
Do you like to doodle? It can be very relaxing. Not only that, doodling can help improve your memory and may help with stress relief and focus ( Harvard Health Publishing , 2016). And as a bonus, the finished results are often surprisingly cool and interesting to look at. Last summer I downloaded the sheet below and spent part of an afternoon doodling with one of my micron pens. Unfortunately, even after looking all over my desktop and online I simply can NOT find the source for this worksheet.  If you happen to know where it came from please let me know and I'll add the proper link. ...
Hi Friends! I just finished making a 12-page autumn mandala colouring book. It features a variety of unique and pretty mandalas with either an autumn or Halloween image in the middle. I think the colouring pages are perfect for 5 to 7-year-olds ... and maybe younger and older children depending on their colouring skills and tastes. Each mandala is centred on an 8 1/2 by 11 inch page, as you can see above. Here's a close-up of some of them. You can purchase the booklet in my TpT shop either by clicking the link or clicking on any of the images. FREEBIE! Here's a free colouring sheet which also has a mandala. Thanks for stopping by!...
I have some free social media icons for you today. This "pretty in green" set comes in two sizes: 50 px and 400 px. ...
Although it's still officially summer it definitely feels like autumn where I live. The kids are now back to school, the hot days have become warm and I'm noticing some leaves turning colour and falling to the ground. This is my favourite time of year! I've been learning how to make mandalas this week and thought it would be fun to make an autumn mandala to share. So here's one that I've turned into a colouring page. I hope it's the first of many because I was thinking of making a colouring book of mandalas aimed at 4 to 7 year olds. Mandalas can be very complicated, but I purposefully kept this one simple so that even the most reluctant crayon artist (I just made that up but I think it works) will be tempted to take crayon (or felt) to paper. The pdf can be printed onto an 81/2 by 11 inch paper. DOWNLOAD: Autumn Mandala Colouring Page If you grab it I'd love to hear some constructive feedback in the comments. Too simple? Too complicated? Not ...
Happy September, Friends! I have some new sugar skulls clipart to show you. I've been meaning to make these beauties for over a year! I just love all the different variations you can see online now. The first time I saw a sugar skull I have to admit it kind of creeped me out. But the more I really looked at them and started to appreciate the colours and artistry, the more I started to love them. As I'm sure you already know, sugar skulls are part of the Day of the Dead Mexican holiday (when deceased family members are honoured). I did a little research and learned that the sugar skulls (calaveras) are either decorative and made of clay, or edible and made out of sugar. The calaveras made out of sugar are decorated with coloured icing, beads, foil and feathers! Both types of skulls are made for children or for altar offerings. If you do a quick google search you can find tons of sugar skull recipes! But if you're like me, and not so much into cooking...

Cactus note paper! It's cute, it's free and you can download it here. It seems everywhere I look these days I'm seeing cactus motifs and I love 'em. They're on mugs, quotes, t-shirts, you name it. So I decided to make this cactus note paper. You have a choice of three different styles. A blank page, a lined page, and a page with "To Do" at the top. You could use these to write someone a letter or to jot notes on at home or at school. You could also easily customize the blank note paper by pasting into power point, Pic Monkey or Canva and adding whatever you like ~ perhaps some text so you could use it as a binder cover! Free envelope template PLUS some pretty polka dot digital paper. This beautiful envelope is super simple to make using my template and pretty paper. All you need to do is print the paper (8 1/2 by 11 inches) then flip it over and print the template on the other side. Cut on the dark lines, fold on the dotted lines, glue the bottom and voila! A scroll-to-top button. Do you need one? Oh yes! These are super handy to have, especially if you have a lot of posts, or several long posts, displayed on your blog feed. It's a wee bit annoying when you're scrolling through someone's blog trying to find something and then when you want to go back to the top you have to manually scroll. It's WAY easier to just click on the Scroll-to-Top button and WHOOSH you're there! The button usually sits in the bottom right-hand corner of the blog. Sometimes it's a symbol (like mine) or it can even be the word "Top" or "Back to the Top" ... basically whatever you like. Let's get started with this easy Blogger tutorial. 1. Create Your Scroll-to-Top Button The first step is to create or find your image. If you google "scroll-to-top images" you will find lots of free ones that you can use. OR you can click on the image below and grab the ones I made you. They're similar...
Wow! It's been a long while since I last posted. But I'm back and I have a super cute summer freebie for you. I made up these four summery bookmarks with some watercolour paper I have. Each bookmark is about 8 inches long and  2 inches wide. You can click the image and grab them from Google Docs. It's a LARGE file and won't let you preview so just click "Download" and you're good to go. I printed mine out on plain white paper, but they'd be even better printed on card stock. All you need to do is laminate (if you want them to last a little longer) and cut. I haven't tried this, but they'd probably look super cool printed out on watercolour paper, too. I hope you love them! And if you'd like to see what I've been reading this summer, be sure to pop over to Grade ONEderful . Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a quick comment if you grab ~ I love to hear from you. PS: Check out the cupcake freebies before ...
I just finished a fun new set of social media icons. I really enjoyed making these icons, mostly because I absolutely love these colours and how well they work together! I found them in a colour set called "Party Palette" over at Heather's site,   The Chickabug Blog . This is a new style of icon I'm trying out. As you can see, the edges aren't perfectly smooth. Instead I gave them a chalk pastel look. What do you think? I think it gives them a little more life and whimsy, but I'll have to wait and see whether others feel the same way. If you're in the market for some new social media icons, be sure to head over to either my ETSY SHOP or my TEACHERS PAY TEACHERS SHOP . As usual, you get 25 icons (including a blank one) in two sizes and all 4 colours for $3. The 50 px size is meant to be used on a blog or website (they're quite small) but the larger, 400 px size is perfect to use on teacher product pages. They could also be easily down...

I just love all the cheerful colours in this St. Patrick's Day clipart set. I've been making these cuties over the last several days and they're finally ready! This set of clipart contains the 16 different images you see above PLUS two papers and a shamrock frame. All the clipart above is either 6 inches wide or tall. They're png files which means they have transparent backgrounds. These files are perfect for layering onto each other, other clipart or coloured backgrounds. The papers are 12 by 12 inches and the shamrock frame below is 8 1/2 by 11 inches. Don't worry, the rainbow and cupcake are NOT in the middle of the frame. I just popped them in there for the fun of it. You can click on any of the images and you'll be taken to my TpT store where you can buy it for $3 if you wish. In case you missed it, be sure to CLICK HERE to grab a really cute and FREE shamrock colouring page. Thanks for stopping by!...

Anything kawaii is adorable, but kawaii hearts -- in my opinion :) -- have to be the sweetest. Welcome to Day 12  of the Valentine Clipart Freebies . I'm a little worried they won't be finished in time for Valentines Day but I seem to be a last-minute type of gal with my clipart. The hearts are 6 inches wide and are top quality vectors. I'm very picky about little details and always spend a lot of time on whatever I'm making. Too much time, really, but at least I'm having fun!
